Our first speaker for the EMCA Educational Speaker Series in 2018 kicked off the year with a bang modernising the definition of sales to be inclusively about empowering others to make a change. Speaking to a packed out boardroom Sonia Diab (pictured right) created common ground in her 2 hour workshop with attendees adapting selling techniques to apply across stakeholder engagement, persuasive decision making and traditional notions of service and product transactions.
She discussed principles behind empowering change, steps for approaching a sale, tactics for handling objections and how to end interactions the right way. Attendees walked away understanding a formula for successful sales outcomes and a variety of techniques to ensure a more influential process.
Attendees welcomed Sonia’s enthusiastic energy and pragmatic approach and enjoyed networking with EMBA peers.
